![]() ![]() Please contact our support team if your issue persists at Hi there, can you attempt to upgrade to our latest release and try again? We've addressed some issues around badges and notifications. What can you do? Fix your bugs Mattermost! How hard is it to fix a badge icon? Or actually push notifications? What’s funny is that on this latest release it says badge icon issue fixed - I updated - and the issue is still there. It’s odd, because Mattermost is supposed to be Enterprise level, and their interface is so nice and nice to use, but for whatever reason they can’t seem to iron out all their bugs. If you do get a badge number, it won’t go away until you log out which is a pain especially if you’re using 2FA. If you’re lucky you’ll see a badge number, but that’s rare. If you’re on your phone while a Mattermost notification comes through, you won’t see the pop up. Notifications sometimes send (we’re on the enterprise version) - the notification server works when it wants to. ![]() ![]() But my god, is this the buggiest software/app. It also ties in nicely with Jira and other well known webhooks: Cloudwatch, Jira etc. Look, I decided to implement this instead of Slack for my company because I can host on prem and have total control over the functionality. Our support team is really helpful and always available at if your issues persist I mean, it does work, but I would never choose it for wide scale Enterprise use. In that time, we moved to Slack and now to Teams. Took a YEAR for the developers to respond to this, and then it’s a “try our new version”. I can’t believe people would pay for an “Enterprise” license given its issues. But the overall service and apps combined is pretty awful. This app works, apart from the notification bug, so I’ll give it 3 stars. Lastly, the feature parity is just not there. ![]() Open-source should not equal poor support. Secondly, support is pretty much non-existent unless you want to go through a hassle of opening a GiuHub issue and hoping someone looks at it. Specifically to the iOS app, there are “stuck” notifications on the app icon. First, there are a lot of bugs with the server, the Mac client, and the iOS app. Unfortunately, I’m forced to use this service for my job but it’s definitely not Slack. Search results now display from newest to oldest.īugs, lagging feature parity, and poor support Fixed the sort order of the search results. Fixed websocket not connecting during rare scenarios.
